Mini Draw String Bag

I made some mini draw string bags to use as 'sweet treats bags' for Amanda's school friends. We have lots of sweets and candies received from friends and relatives during CNY celebration. I know if I don't give it out, my children will pro-long their celebration and finish these sweets in days.
This bag is easy to make and it does not cost much. Thin linen only cost few ringgit a meter and the flower applique comes in 12 sets in a box at Daiso. For draw string bag sewing tutorial see Skip to my Lou.

Mini Draw String Bag
Materials:
thin linen (or your favourite fabric) size: 5 inches X 16 inches
draw string
iron-on applique (optional)

To add on to the above draw string tutorial, I fold buttom edge up 1/2 inch before sewing the two sides together. This is to create a 'wider base' for the bag to give more room for the bag. So, more things can be loaded into the bag. Lastly, iron the flower appliques on bags.
